Join us for the Jersey County Run for the Roses at Westlake Country Club in Jerseyville, IL. The theme is Kentucky Derby, dress to impress to win the race! This exciting event features live music, delicious food, a golf symulator, and contests for everyone!
About the host
My name is Jadyn Johnson, and I've always had a deep passion for the Kentucky Derby. As a senior at Jersey Community High School (JCHS), I feel truly grateful for the opportunity to host this event, which has come to life through the incredible Jersey County CEO program. Being involved in this initiative warms my heart because it allows me to combine my love for horses and the joy of dressing up.
Alongside this project, I’m also a proud member of the JCHS Varsity Dance Team, which brings me so much happiness. As I look ahead, I’m excited about the journey to Lewis & Clark Community College.
My hope is to make this event an annual tradition—creating a lasting impact not only for myself but also for our community. I truly believe that it can bring joy to others. Bringing the Kentucky Derby to Jerseyville is a dream come true for me, and I can't wait to see how it unfolds.
